Croatian and Serbian youth were protesting against the independance of
Kosovo that Sunday. We got goosebumps and a text telling us she'll be late. No problem, we had it all figured out. A ruin, one wall of the
house gone, she would walk around, sing in one room and we' d film her
from the tree in the garden.
Laura came with the tourbus, took us with
her and we drove on.. what we forgot to check though was if the door
would still be open that hour later. And there was no plan b. Slightly
embarassing! Even better, the market that was full of vegetables,
people, sounds and fruits 24 hours before, was pretty much empty.
Sundays are taken seriously in this catholic country. Despite, Laura
met some few people on her way through the Brunnenmarkt, playing three
songs for us.
For the nonturkish readers amongst us: Adalet, Özgürlük, Anarsi stands
for Justice, Freedom, Anarchy!
Thanks to Amelia /shoot the player for bringing us together.
