DON'T ASK A RUBBERBAND TO RELAX...

For now...we hate rubberbands. Rubberbands....just go away!
For the last weeks we've pretty much been doing nothing but editing Mikas video. 4 hours of material, listening to that same song over and over again.
It almost feels like a test...how often can you hear one song before you go totally crazy?!

But...there is light at the end of the tunnel :)
The main editing is done, encoding still to come.

Honestly, we need a break!

SO MANY THINGS

going on...

The last couples of days were totally busy and hectic. We've been to the Donaufestival in Krems and did videos with the wonderful Scott Matthew, The Hidden Cameras and Bunny Rabbit. We also had the pleasure of a very special late night video session in a parking lot with Ursula Rucker.

We filmed the 'Kampf der Chöre' (battle of the choirs) - a night with Quote and Malmö at the Vienna Fluc.

And we travelled to Linz to meet the Lesbians On Ecstasy at the Kapu. After an 8 hour drive they still had the will and energy to perform their fabulous song 'Mortified' for us. Thanks again!

2 DAYS OF SHOOTING

Oh yes....we did it.
And oh yes, we all learned a lot and had a lot of fun...and need a lot of sleep now!

We met up with Mika and the rest of the band early in the morning (well, actually it was not that early...but for them it was. I won't go into details, all I will say is that there was something called 'Amadeus Award 2008' the day before the shooting started. And as some of you might know wonderful Miss Vember (and part of her band as well) is also a member of another of our favourite austrian bands 'Clara Luzia', who happened to win an Award in the category 'FM4 Alternative Act'. Now.....you do the math :)

We had a great time with you guys, loved working with you - very, very inspiring!

Time to move west! It won't be peaceful there, it might even rain. But we can assure you, you'll be in good company!

From april, 24th to may, 3rd 2008 the Donaufestival will once again take over Krems.
Dedicated to the poetry of angst, obsession and beauty the festival will gather artists from many different genres, with having one thing in common: they all push boundaries of and with their arts.

With these notions in mind the Donaufestival calls for a poetic attack of the malestream. The role model factory of maledominated societies will be contested, deconstructed and smashed with sensual pleasure.

Ann Liv Young, Bruce LaBruce, Kenneth Anger, Gustav, The Hidden Cameras and Xiu Xiu are some of the artists that will challenge your perceptions and broaden your pleasure seeking minds.

So get off the internet and check your train ticket or take a few days off and walk there!
