Incredibly charming people. And so full of energy that they even find time to go to museums while they are on tour.
Coincidences… When we got in touch with 'The Poem is You' we didn’t know that only a couple of months earlier two of them gave hospitality to a befriended band, Clara Luzia, on their German tour. Only after they decided to work with us we found out because Clara posted a concert-recommendation on her website.
The evening before the shoot we went to their gig. After the first two or three songs we looked at each other and knew exactly what the other one was thinking: ‘This is going to be hell of a challenge!’ 6 musicians, 4 of them singing alternately. Trumpet, bassoon, drums, bass, guitar and tambourine.
As we should find out the real challenge were not voices or instruments, but the pace the 'Poems' (as we started to call them) were marching through the crowded Naschmarkt (Vienna's most famous food market).
